Woodbridge School District staff joined our district social worker, Ashley Nunez, for a giveaway event supporting families across our district. Ashley partnered with Finding Me Forward, a nonprofit organization that supports women and families experiencing domestic violence, child abuse, and trauma through community outreach and access to essential resources. Finding Me Forward collected, packed, and helped distribute self-care items and new undergarments, while families also received fresh fruits and vegetables at the event. Donations were also provided to help stock our students’ school life skills laundry room.

This event is one of many initiatives underway to strengthen the connection between our schools and community, listen to our families’ needs, and bring meaningful support directly to them.
