The Woodbridge High School Class of 2027 started their senior year by making memories together at Senior Sunrise on Monday, August 31.
More than 50 seniors arrived on campus at 6:00 a.m.—much earlier than their typical school-day arrival—to gather with classmates and celebrate the beginning of their final year at Woodbridge High School. Students grilled and enjoyed breakfast together, played cornhole, spent time with friends, and watched the sun rise.
Led by senior class advisors Lauren Niezgoda and Christine Graham, the event allowed students to connect and reflect as they begin an exciting year filled with milestones and traditions.
Senior Sunrise marks the beginning of a special journey for the Class of 2027. In the spring, Senior Sunset will provide a fitting bookend as they prepare to graduate and take their next steps beyond Woodbridge.
It was an early morning, but one well worth waking up for—and a memorable way for the Class of 2027 to begin their senior year together.
Built Blue. Together from sunrise to sunset.
