On May 5, 2026, WMS held its National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony for students in grades 6–8. The event was a meaningful celebration recognizing students for their outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Family members, faculty, administrators, and community supporters gathered to honor the newest inductees as they officially became members of WMS NJHS.

The ceremony began with opening remarks from NJHS President Ethan Sears, who welcomed guests and highlighted the importance of academic excellence and positive leadership within the school community. Vice President Shelby Ray, Secretary Violet Steele, Treasurer Michael Griffis, and Historian Addison Wands also helped lead the event by presenting the five pillars of NJHS and explaining how each quality reflects the values and expectations of the organization. Candle lighting and symbolic presentations added a special and memorable touch to the ceremony.

Each inductee was recognized for demonstrating dedication both inside and outside the classroom. Students were celebrated not only for their academic success but also for their commitment to helping others, serving their school, and setting a positive example for their peers. During the induction pledge, students promised to uphold the principles of NJHS and continue striving for excellence.

The ceremony concluded with congratulations from Principal Ms. Green and NJHS Advisor Mr. Bailey, who encouraged students to use their talents and leadership to make a positive impact in their school and community. The event served as a proud moment for inductees and their families while reinforcing the values that define the National Junior Honor Society.
