Woodbridge Middle School’s Drama Club recently presented “Storybook Court: Full of Beans!”  The play followed a trial of Helga Giant vs Jack Bean.  Jack is on trial, being accused of stealing gold, a goose and a harp from Ms. Giant.  Ms. Red Riding Hood, played by Maddie Gralewski, led the prosecution team against the defense team led by Ms. Big Bad Wolf, played by Annalise Lloyd.  There were a variety of witnesses for both the prosecution and the defense during the proceedings.  Jack’s mother, played by Sarah Melvin and the Golden Goose, played by Addison Wands/Jenna DeLeon were called as witnesses to the crime.  The Gingerbread Man, played by Ethan Mathis, could hardly sit still through the trial as a jury member.  Sleeping Beauty, played by Valor Wilkerson/Hailey Sanders, falls sound asleep during the trial and it’s the audience that must vote to determine Jack’s fate.

Woodbridge Middle School Performing Arts is made up of Band, Choir and Drama Club.  Band and Choir both meet daily during the school day and have various performances throughout the school year.  Drama Club is an after school extracurricular activity that typically starts in October and will end in February with the presentation of their annual production.
