Cross Country Bridge

The Woodbridge High School Cross Country course received some important improvements this week thanks to the hard work of volunteers, staff, and members of the WHS XC program.

Former WHS Cross Country Assistant Coach Gary Focht, along with his wife, Holly, and carpenter John McNeil, spent time on the trail replacing the course bridge and rebuilding the training hill. Their efforts helped improve two important features of the course used by Blue Raider runners throughout the season.

A special thank you also goes to the WHS Maintenance Department, which provided equipment, delivered materials, and made sure the volunteers had everything they needed to complete the project.

The improvements build on work started last week by the WHS Cross Country crew. Team members trimmed shrubbery overhanging the course, repositioned directional poles, raked the trail, and tackled other maintenance projects to prepare the course.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in to make the WHS Cross Country course even better for our Blue Raiders. It was truly a team effort!
