NHS Inductions

The National Honor Society at Woodbridge School District welcomed 21 new student members during its induction ceremony held on May 18, 2026, recognizing students who exemplify the organization’s core values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

The ceremony was led by advisor Ms. Jessica Redmond, along with the chapter’s student officers, including President Edna Ramirez Ramirez, Vice President Matthew Din, Historian Da’Riah Louis, Treasurer Jasmine Truax, Secretary Kelly Yoc, and Parliamentarian Evan Judy.

Students inducted into the chapter represented the sophomore, junior, and senior classes and reflected a wide range of involvement throughout the school community. Among the new and returning members are student government leaders, Future Farmers of America members, 4-H participants, drum majors, senior superlative recipients, team managers, athletes, thespians, select choir members, and yearbook staffers.

Throughout the school year, the chapter dedicated itself to serving both the school and the surrounding community through a variety of projects and volunteer efforts. Members sold fruit salad and shirts featuring the chapter’s new logo during the Homecoming Festival and entertained local children with spin art activities at the Apple Scrapple Festival. Students also volunteered in concession stands during football and basketball seasons, donated their time to support Bella’s Ball, and organized a financial contribution benefiting a Woodbridge School District alumnus.

The chapter was praised for its commitment to leadership and community involvement, noting that the students’ efforts throughout the year reflect the mission and values of the National Honor Society.NHS CandlelightingNHS Cord Ceremony
