Mock Congress

Students from Woodbridge High School are taking part in the 2nd Annual Mock Continental Congress, joining peers from schools across Delaware in a unique educational experience that brings American history to life.

Through the Mock Continental Congress, students have the opportunity to step into the roles of the nation’s founding leaders, debating ideas, discussing challenges, and exploring the decisions that helped shape America’s early history.

By participating in this statewide program, students strengthen their skills in public speaking, critical thinking, research, and collaboration while gaining a deeper appreciation for the democratic process.

Woodbridge High School is proud to have its students represent the school and community in this important event, demonstrating leadership, civic engagement, and a commitment to learning. As Delaware joins in recognizing America’s 250th birthday, opportunities like the Mock Continental Congress help inspire the next generation to understand the past and help shape the future.
