Two students, Nakaiya Burbage and Tomyia Bailey, have been named finalists in the Delaware Congressional Art Competition.
The students attended a finalist ceremony in Wilmington on April 13, where they were recognized alongside other talented young artists from across the state. During the event, they met with Congresswoman Sarah McBride and had the opportunity to present and discuss their artwork.
The ceremony also allowed students to view a variety of pieces created by other Delaware high school artists, celebrating creativity and artistic achievement across the state.
