A lively crowd of more than 100 people gathered for a spirited, multi-round competition that brought together students from across the district for a night of fun and community pride.
The event featured four rounds of play, beginning with a strong showing from the middle school team, which secured a win over WECEC in the opening round. In the second round, the high school team advanced after defeating PWES. The competition culminated in a final matchup between the middle school and high school teams, with the middle school emerging as the overall champion.
Adding to the excitement, a special challenge round gave the middle school team the opportunity to face off against members of the boys basketball team. In an impressive performance, the students came out on top once again, energizing the crowd.
An MVP trophy, generously donated by Bwadecarr Photography, was awarded to Mr. Hammond of the middle school in recognition of outstanding performance and leadership.
The event was organized by Lauren Niezgoda and Christine Graham alongside the prom committee from the Class of 2027, whose efforts helped create a memorable and well-attended evening.
Organizers noted that the highlight of the night was the sense of unity and support among attendees. Community members from across the district came together to cheer on their teams, creating an atmosphere that was both inclusive and celebratory. By the end of the evening, it was clear that the event was not only a success in competition, but also in bringing the community closer together.
