On March 25, 2026, Woodbridge High School seniors participated in a real-world civic experience through a partnership with the League of Women Voters of Sussex County and the Delaware Department of Elections.
Representatives provided voter registration information and shared both online and in-person registration options. Students also learned about the League’s mission to empower voters and promote informed participation in government.
A highlight of the event was the ExpressVote XL demonstration. Seniors used a voting machine in a simulated election, casting ballots for their favorite fair food. This hands-on experience gave students a clear understanding of the voting process they will encounter in future elections.
