Our Select Ensemble had a zoom meeting with music educator & composer Eric Tsavdar today! They have been working on his piece, Spellbound, and had the opportunity to talk to him about his writing process, what the piece was about and the publishing business. For many ensemble members, the experience was both eye-opening and motivating. Connecting with a living composer helped bring their music to life in a new way, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the work.
Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable morning—one that not only strengthened musical skills but also fostered valuable connections and inspired curiosity about the compositional side of music.
