This month’s theme, “Spring Into Action,” highlights the staff members who are always ready to step up when it matters most. Tracey Short does exactly that.

Whether it’s lending a hand during a busy moment or quietly stepping in behind the scenes, these team members embody what it means to make a difference.
One example of this kind of leadership can be seen in figures like Tracey Short, former field hockey coach at Wesley College. Known for her commitment to student-athletes both on and off the field, Short built a reputation for responsiveness, teamwork, and mentorship — qualities that align closely with this month’s theme. Her approach emphasized not only athletic performance but also personal growth, accountability, and supporting others in moments of need.
