A group of students recently had the opportunity to explore the world of healthcare during an educational field trip to TidalHealth Nanticoke on Thursday, March 12. The visit provided students with a firsthand look at the hospital environment and introduced them to a variety of medical career pathways.
During the trip, students toured several departments throughout the hospital, learning how healthcare professionals work together to care for patients. Hospital staff members also shared information about the many career opportunities available in the medical field, particularly those that students in the school’s Med Tech pathway may pursue after graduation.
The experience allowed students to see how classroom learning connects to real-world medical settings and gave them valuable insight into potential future careers in healthcare. The trip was designed to inspire students and help them better understand the educational and professional pathways available in the growing healthcare field.
