NHS Boo Bash

WHS’ National Honor Society (NHS) members participate and volunteer in the school and community. Most recently, NHS members worked with Mrs. Ruse and the Art Club, and Media Specialist/Library Mr. Brake, to collect plastic for a memorial bench for Uneeki Teagle, a young woman who tragically lost her life during the time she was at WHS. NHS also sold fruit salad at the Homecoming Festival, distributed candy at the Boo Bash, and had a booth at Apple Scrapple. In addition to group projects, each NHS member volunteers in other organizations.

NHS members are distinguished in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. In addition to the current members, 21 more students will be inducted in the spring.
