Woodbridge Early Childhood Education Center teachers received a special surprise this morning thanks to the generosity of Delaware Electric Cooperative and its Co-op Cares program.
Delaware Electric Cooperative representatives Monika Lowe and Julia Goff stopped by WECEC to deliver 56 goodie bags for the school’s teaching staff. Each bag was filled with a variety of treats and useful items, including candy, personal care products, and office supplies.
The bags were placed in teachers’ mailboxes, creating a fun surprise and a meaningful reminder that their hard work and dedication are appreciated by members of the community.
Co-op Cares is an employee-driven program through Delaware Electric Cooperative that provides opportunities for employees to give back and support the communities they serve. As part of this outreach effort, Co-op employees prepared and donated the goodie bags for WECEC teachers.
The Woodbridge School District is grateful to Delaware Electric Cooperative, Monika Lowe, Julia Goff, and the Co-op Cares team for thinking of our educators and taking the time to brighten their day.
Community partnerships like this are an important part of supporting the people who make a difference for Woodbridge students each day.
Thank you, Delaware Electric Cooperative, for supporting our WECEC teachers and the Woodbridge School District!
