The Woodbridge Early Childhood Education Center is proud to announce that Mrs. Alexis McGuire has been selected as our 2026–27 Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. McGuire is known for her calm demeanor, genuine love of teaching, and unwavering dedication to her students. She treats each child as her own while maintaining high expectations and providing the encouragement and support needed for success.
In her application, she shared her commitment to creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom where students feel valued and supported. She also emphasized the importance of building strong relationships and fostering a positive school community — something she exemplifies every day.
Following a comprehensive review process conducted by our School Improvement Team using the state rubric, Mrs. McGuire will represent WECEC at the district level.
