As we celebrate National School Counseling Week, WECEC is proud to recognize and thank our incredible school counselors, Ms. Richey and Mrs. Moore, for the countless ways they support our students, staff, and families every single day.
Ms. Richey and Mrs. Moore truly do it all. Their impact reaches far beyond their offices and into every corner of our school community. From teaching engaging classroom lessons to assisting students in the cafeteria, they are always present where students need them most. They play a key role in organizing our bus and cafeteria incentive programs, helping to promote positive behavior and a strong school culture.
In addition, our counselors provide meaningful group and individual counseling services, offering students the academic, social, and emotional support they need to succeed. They also coordinate holiday assistance for families and take on many other duties and tasks—often behind the scenes—that help keep WECEC running smoothly.
Their dedication, flexibility, and genuine care for others make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and staff. WECEC is incredibly fortunate to have such compassionate and hardworking counselors.
